Lindsay Lohan stuns in a glamorous black outfit adorned with dazzling diamonds, stealing the spotlight at the New York City red carpet premiere of the 'Mean Girls' movie musical

Lindsay Lohan reunited with Tina Fey at the premiere of the new Mean Girls movie on Monday, January 8.
Lohan, now 37, who played Cady Herron in the 2004 hit, graced the red carpet in New York City wearing a stunning black cutout dress with a diamond belt. She accessorized with a matching bangle and clutch, and her iconic red hair flowed in sleek waves.
The new Mean Girls, set to hit theaters on Friday, January 13, is an adaptation of the Broadway musical based on the original film. Fey, 53, returns as a writer and as Ms. Norbury, but the other characters have been recast. Angourie Rice now takes on Lohan’s role as Cady, while Reneé Rapp plays Regina George, the iconic villain famously portrayed by Rachel McAdams.
The original cast has shown their support for the new generation since the adaptation was announced. In March 2023, McAdams, 43, told Entertainment Tonight that she believes Rapp "can do no wrong" with the role of queen bee. "She is incredible," McAdams gushed.

"I'm already outdone by her voice. I'm just looking forward to seeing her take on the role," McAdams went on. "It's a fantastic character. It's a lot of fun to play, so I hope she enjoys it. And I'm excited to see her performance."
Lohan recently joined former costars Amanda Seyfried and Lacey Chabert for a Walmart Black Friday ad that depicted their characters as moms, despite the new Mean Girls cast. “One word to describe the Mean Girls reunion commercial [for Walmart] was joyful,” Chabert, 41, shared exclusively with We‘s 25 Things You Don’t Know About Me feature last month.

These women have all become mothers in real life but with a cool twist. Seyfried, 38, has a daughter Nina, 6, and son Thomas, 3, with her husband Thomas Sadoski. Chabert shares a 7-year-old daughter named Julia with her husband David Nehdar. McAdams and her longtime partner Jamie Linden welcomed a son in 2018 and a daughter in 2020, but have kept their names private.

Lohan and her husband Bader Shammas welcomed their son, Luai, in August 2023, making Lohan the latest Mean Girls alum to become a mother. According to an insider, Lohan has taken naturally to motherhood and is excelling at time management, self-care, and balancing the needs of her baby. The source shared that Lohan is devoted to practicing yoga, meditating, and exercising while also prioritizing taking care of herself, recognizing that her own well-being is crucial to being the best mom she can be to baby Luai.
