Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake Turn Heads in Sweet NYC PDA Moment

Lily-Rose Depp and her girlfriend, 070 Shake (real name Danielle Balbuena), were spotted holding hands and smiling while taking a stroll in New York City, giving off major love vibes.

For their recent outing on Tuesday, June 13, the 24-year-old Idol actress donned a white button-up shirtdress while her 25-year-old partner, the "Escapism" rapper, went for a more casual look with a faded t-shirt, black jeans, and chunky black combat boots. Depp held an iced coffee in one hand and affectionately held the "Guilty Conscience" musician's hand in the other. This date follows closely after their Sunday, June 11 lunch at Lure FishBar, where they were seen engaging in some passionate PDA and 070 Shake even got handsy with Depp, putting her hands under the Planetarium actress' mini skirt in one steamy snap.

Depp went public with her relationship with a New Jersey native in May, sharing a photo of them kissing on her Instagram Story. She captioned the snap with “4 MONTHS W MY CRUSH”. The model, who previously dated Timothée Chalamet from 2010 to 2020, has been open about not wanting to define her sexuality.

"I participated in a 2015 photo series featuring individuals who do not identify as '100 percent straight.' However, the public's reaction to it was misinterpreted," Depp explained in a February 2016 interview with Nylon. "Many assumed that I was coming out, but that was not my intention. My purpose was simply to demonstrate that one need not label their sexuality."

In recent news, the actress of French descent, Lily-Rose, has been making waves for her performance in the HBO series The Idol, which according to a March 2023 Rolling Stone article, has been labeled as "torture porn." Despite the criticism, Lily-Rose and her co-star, Abel Tesfaye (also known as The Weeknd), have stood by the project and defended it in a New York Times interview conducted during the Cannes Film Festival in May.

"We were always aware that we wanted to create something daring and thought-provoking, which may not resonate with everyone. That was precisely what attracted us," shared the actress from Faithful Man. "None of us had any intention of producing content that would cater to a broad audience and be considered 'family-friendly'."

The musician behind "Die for You," aged 33, concurred with the idea, stating: "When I began my music career, it was the same. It was provocative and I knew it would be challenging for people. Many didn't like it. While it's not the same, I feel like it's happening again. Not everyone will be into this, and that's okay. We're not trying to be politicians."

Lily-Rose also defended the show's use of nudity, explaining, "There are numerous women who have felt exploited by their past nude performances and have regretted it. However, I feel comfortable performing in that way and enjoy it. It helped shape my character."

The actress who played Tusk has often found herself in the midst of controversy, and her family has been no exception. In a highly publicized defamation trial against his ex-wife Amber Heard, the actress's father was awarded a whopping $10 million in compensatory damages and $5 million in punitive damages in June 2022. The trial came after Heard, who is 37 years old, had written an op-ed for the Washington Post in December 2018 where she described herself as a survivor of domestic abuse. Interestingly, Lily-Rose chose to remain silent on the matter and, during a November 2022 interview with Elle, expressed her desire to keep her thoughts and feelings to herself.
