Lila Moss just paid a stylish tribute to her mom, Kate Moss.
Lila, 21, caused a stir at the Fashion Awards in London on Monday, December 4, by wearing a metallic sheer slip dress that bore a striking resemblance to one previously worn by Kate, 49, in 1993.
Lila's see-through floor-length gown featured thin shoulder straps, cut-outs that exposed her sides and back, and a bralette top with delicate pleat detailing. She chose to wear black underwear beneath the transparent dress and completed the look with black heels and silver earrings.
The model sported a stylish bun with face-framing strands, showcasing her straight blonde hair, and opted for minimal, natural makeup, accentuated with black eyeliner and long lashes.
At an Elite Model Agency event in London in September 1993, a 49-year-old Kate posed in a metallic sheer floor-length dress, paired with distinct black underwear. She went makeup-free and sported a casual bun hairstyle, smiling for photographers at the glamorous gathering.

Kate's iconic see-through dress, designed by Liza Bruce, is easily recognized by fashion fans worldwide. The similarity to the original dress is no coincidence, as Lila sought the help of Albanian fashion designer Nensi Dojaka to create a modern-day version.
Lila expressed to Vogue that Nensi's designs perfectly capture the elegant, chic, and sexy vibes that she loves, leaving her feeling confident for the event. The dress, with its crossed back and symmetrical sheer cut-outs, creates the illusion of a low, open back and reminds her of armor in some ways.
She also shared that her inspiration extended beyond her mother's dress. When it came to her hair, she aimed for something effortless, finding inspiration from a wispy bun her mother wore to a Donna Karan show in 1993, which she discovered on Pinterest.

"Lila embodies a fearless young woman who sets her own rules - her confidence allows her to embrace her sensuality, making her the perfect fit for the Nensi Dojaka woman who confidently owns her femininity."
