Now, the company is expanding its console options by announcing streaming for Xbox consoles on its platform. This move is part of Discord's efforts to provide more choices to console gamers, such as connecting Discord to PS5 and allowing Xbox users to use the app while gaming. Since its release in 2015, Discord has grown significantly in popularity among gamers, making these console enhancements a natural progression for the platform.
Now introducing a groundbreaking feature for Xbox players: the ability to directly stream Xbox games to Discord. Be among the first to experience this innovative feature by sharing your screen in real-time with friends on Discord. Currently, this feature is exclusively available to participants of the Xbox Insiders program. However, regular users can look forward to trying out this exciting feature very soon, as affirmed by Discord.
To access this functionality, Xbox Insiders members (and later anyone else) should initially link their Discord and Xbox accounts. They can do it by navigating to "User Settings" and then "Connections" on the Discord desktop app and selecting the Xbox logo. Once completed, during gameplay, they simply need to press the Xbox button, access "Parties & Chats," choose Discord, and stream the game on a channel they are already a part of. Discord Nitro members will have the ability to stream games at higher quality, with resolutions of up to 1080p and higher framerates.

Additionally, the platform recently incorporated ChatGPT across all Discord servers, aligning with the global trend of utilizing generative technology based on machine learning to enhance user experiences.
