The fan-created LEGO Twilight set of the Cullen House is being made a reality through the LEGO Ideas campaign. This initiative, which began in 2014, allows users to submit their own ideas for sets. The sets that receive more than 10,000 votes from the community are considered for production, making it a unique aspect of the popular toy manufacturer's approach.
This has resulted in some truly original sets that have paved the way for innovative creations based on original concepts, such as an Exo Suit inspired by classic LEGO Space collections or Birds inspired by... well, birds.
However, the most noteworthy aspect of LEGO Ideas is how it creates opportunities for new licensed properties, such as the iconic Ghostbusters Ecto-1 or the initial LEGO Minecraft set. The most recent approved project continues in that trend, connecting with the popular Twilight franchise.
LEGO Twilight: Cullen House Fan Idea set is getting made
Announced via the LEGO Ideas Blog, the LEGO Twilight: Cullen House set is going into production.
LEGOThe LEGO Twilight: Cullen House is designed by Nick Micheels (aka LobsterThermidor) and features a detailed recreation of the iconic Cullen House from the Twilight films. The set consists of a whopping 2,995 pieces and comes with four mini-figures: Bella, Edward, Jacob, and an “extraordinarily pale” Carlisle.
The proposed set for the iconic Cullen House will not only include everything fans need to build it, but also feature a brick-built werewolf, a display of the Cullens' graduation caps, and a baseball bat and glove, all aimed at recreating the film's most iconic moments.
The creation of the Cullen House set also paves the way for potential future Twilight sets. This has been seen with the LEGO Ideas Minecraft set, which led to an ongoing collaboration with Minecraft.
Winning LEGO Ideas projects from licensed properties are increasingly rare, given the challenges such as licensing issues and the complexity of the required molds. Previous projects like Legend of Zelda, EVE Online Ships, and the X-Men’s X-Mansion have been rejected for various reasons, but the Cullen House from LEGO Twilight has secured a spot for 2023. More details on the pricing and availability of the Cullen House set will be announced in the future, joining other successful 2023 projects like the Polaroid Onestep SX-70 camera and the Sanderson Sisters’ Cottage from Hocus Pocus.

As a passionate fan of both LEGO and the Twilight series, I am thrilled to hear that the LEGO Twilight: Cullen House set has achieved 10,000 votes and will become a reality. The Cullen House is an iconic location in the Twilight films, and it will be amazing to see it recreated in LEGO brick form. I can't wait to build the set and relive my favorite moments from the movies. I also appreciate that the set includes mini-figures of Bella, Edward, Jacob, and Carlisle, as well as a brick-built werewolf, a display of the Cullens' graduation caps, and a baseball bat and glove. These details will make the set even more special for fans of the series.
I am also excited about the potential for future Twilight sets. The LEGO Ideas Minecraft set led to an ongoing collaboration with Minecraft, and I hope that the Cullen House set will do the same for Twilight. There are so many other iconic locations and moments from the films that could be recreated in LEGO form, and I would love to see them all come to life. I believe that the LEGO Twilight: Cullen House set is a must-have for any fan of the series, and I can't wait to get my hands on it.
