Kylie Jenner has made efforts to reconnect with her former best friend Jordyn Woods following their reunion.

Subtly showing her support, the 25-year-old Jenner "liked" Woods' recent Instagram photos, showcasing her vacation in Greece. The post featured Woods, 25, sporting a striped one-piece swimsuit as she posed on a boat abroad.

Jenner's online engagement follows their recent dinner outing in Los Angeles. This marked their first public interaction in four years.

A reliable source revealed that Kylie was the one who initiated contact with Jordyn, expressing her longing for their friendship and believing that enough time had passed for a reunion. They both wanted to meet up and reconnect.

Jenner and Woods were reportedly making efforts to repair their previous bond, with one source mentioning that it is a gradual process. Another insider revealed that Jenner had obtained permission from her sister Khloé Kardashian to meet with Woods, indicating that Khloé is supportive of forgiveness and moving on.

Jenner and Woods had been extremely close for several years until the model made headlines in 2019 for having a romantic encounter with Tristan Thompson, who was Kardashian's boyfriend at the time. As a result of the scandal, Kardashian, 39, and Thompson, 32, ended their relationship, although they briefly reconciled before ultimately breaking up for good in 2021. (The former couple has two children together: daughter True, 5, and son Tatum, 11 months.)

Woods, on the other hand, later pondered on the effect that the drama had on her friendship with Jenner.

"It's common to dwell on the choices that could have been made differently and feel self-blame, but it's important not to cling onto those regrets. The key is to acknowledge and embrace what truly took place, allowing yourself to release the burden," she expressed in a September 2020 interview on the Now With Natalie YouTube series. "In my opinion, freeing oneself from shame entails coming to terms with the past events."

Simultaneously, Kardashian openly discussed her choice to grant forgiveness to all parties involved in the circumstance.

“I personally don't communicate with her, but I believe she's thriving in her personal life," she stated during the Keeping Up With the Kardashians reunion in June 2021. "There is a common misconception that I have only forgiven Tristan. However, there are some narratives that aren't as entertaining to circulate and spread like wildfire. I have actually tweeted and shared Insta Stories expressing that I hold no resentment towards Jordyn. I understand that people make mistakes, grow, and learn, and I have forgiven both individuals. It would be illogical, in my opinion, to forgive Tristan and not Jordyn."
