Kris Jenner praised Scott Disick for prioritizing his health.

During the premiere of The Kardashians season 5 on Thursday, May 23, Kris, who is 68 years old, expressed her admiration for Scott, who is 40.

Kris greeted Scott with a hug and complimented him on his weight loss, saying, "Wow, you look great!" Later, in a confessional, Kris expressed her pride in Scott and his journey through the ups and downs of being in the public eye. She mentioned how he had struggled in the past year and how it had made her feel sad to see him not in the best place.

Khloé Kardashian noticed that the items in Scott's fridge looked really healthy during their conversation. Scott shared that he had experienced back problems and weight gain following a car accident.

During an episode of the Hulu series, he asked Kendall Jenner if she knew that he might need back surgery because of the car accident he was in. He mentioned that his back was in bad shape after falling off a dirt bike while teaching his son, Mason, how to do a wheelie. This fall caused him to injure his tailbone, leading to dual back problems.

Although it was aired almost a year later, Scott's car accident actually took place in August 2022. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Bureau confirmed that the co-founder of Talentless was driving at the time of the incident in Calabasas.

I was on my way to pick up Mason for a movie night. I was driving alone," Scott, who has children Mason, Penelope, and Reign with ex Kourtney Kardashian, shared in a June 2023 episode. As I turned right in the neighborhood, the curbs weren't flat but more like small lips. The wheel hit one of these lips, causing it to jerk and hit a pillar.

The impact caused the car to flip forward before landing. I was stuck inside, strapped in my seat, and hanging. I tried to escape through the sunroof, but I couldn't get out.

Scott wasn't seen much on The Kardashians right after his accident. When he finally came back, he talked to Khloé about his appearance.

"I put on a lot of weight because of my back," he shared with Khloé in an episode from October 2023. "Since the car accident, my back pain has been getting worse."

Khloé suggested to Scott that he should consider seeing a physical therapist. She mentioned, “I feel like Scott could use some encouragement because he seems to be in the worst shape I’ve ever seen him. His back is causing him so much discomfort that he can barely move. That’s not a good feeling for anyone. I believe Scott needs to understand that these issues can be resolved. He shouldn’t let them bring him down.”

New episodes of The Kardashians are now available on Hulu every Thursday.
