Kourtney Kardashian Takes Precautions Before the Arrival of Her and Travis Barker's Baby

Kourtney Kardashian is approaching her due date and is opting for a more relaxed approach as she prepares to welcome her first child with Travis Barker. According to an exclusive source in the latest issue of We, she is prioritizing her safety and well-being, even if that means missing out on certain events. This was evident when she chose not to attend her sister Kim Kardashian's 43rd birthday party earlier this month, with Kim later revealing that Kourtney was on bed rest.

According to an insider, Barker, 47, is still set to embark on a tour with Blink-182 even after the baby is born. The band, comprising Tom DeLonge and Mark Hoppus as well, will be performing overseas starting in February 2024. The insider further stated that Kourtney is not worried about this as she receives ample support from her family during Barker's absence.

Kourtney's pregnancy was announced during a Blink-182 concert in June and her family has been there for her every step of the way. Following an emergency fetal surgery that saved the baby's life, the Kardashians have been offering their support to the couple in every possible way. Rather than publicly displaying their support on social media, the Kardashians prioritize providing real-life support to Kourtney. They are extremely thankful that she is doing well and appreciate the unwavering presence of her incredible husband.

As they anticipate the arrival of their second child, Kourtney and Barker's baby boy's name has been the subject of much speculation. According to an exclusive source, they have several names in mind but prefer to wait until they meet their newborn before making a final decision. A different insider previously mentioned that the name "Rocky" is among the options.

Travis Barker seemingly confirmed the chosen moniker for their baby during an interview on the “One Life One Chance With Toby Morse” podcast. The drummer revealed that they had planned to attend a benefit for Hawaii, but it coincided with the week that their baby, Rocky Thirteen Barker, is due.

Barker mentioned his anticipation that Kourtney will deliver her baby either on Halloween or during the first week of November. Earlier this week, Kourtney and Travis unveiled their impressive Halloween costumes for 2023. Kourtney imitated a photo of her sister Kim at the 2013 Met Gala, showcasing her baby bump while wearing the same floral Givenchy gown. Additionally, she and Barker perfectly embodied the characters of Beetlejuice and Lydia Deetz.

"I'm the ghost with the most, babe," Kourtney wrote as the caption for their Instagram pictures on Monday. The pair dressed up in the iconic red wedding outfits from the climax of the 1988 film. In that scene, Lydia (played by Winona Ryder) agrees to marry Beetlejuice (played by Michael Keaton) in order to save her ghost friends, Adam (Alec Baldwin) and Barbara (Geena Davis).
