Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker's Unexpected Pregnancy Bombshell Rocks Blink-182 Show

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker are expecting their first child together. The surprise announcement was made by Kardashian during a Blink-182 concert on June 17. Holding up a handwritten sign that read "Travis, I'm pregnant," she danced in the crowd with her daughter, Penelope. The couple later shared footage of the special moment on their joint Instagram account.

Barker's bandmate, Mark Hoppus, excitedly interrupted the show with a surprising announcement directed at Travis, exclaiming, "Hey Travis, there's big news!" Hoppus playfully revealed that someone's reproductive abilities were still intact, and joyfully declared, "Let's give it up for Travis... someone's going to be a parent!" Startled by the news, Barker swiftly descended from his drumkit to locate Kardashian in the audience, where they commemorated the moment with a heartfelt kiss.

The couple, who recently celebrated their one-year wedding anniversary, received immediate congratulations from their well-known relatives. Kim Kardashian, sister of Kardashian, expressed her joy by sharing heart and pregnant woman emojis in the comments section of their Instagram post. Barker's daughter, Alabama, also showed her excitement by reposting her father's video on her Instagram Story. She captioned it, "Baby #7!"

Kourtney and Barker went public with their relationship in January 2021 and got engaged just nine months later. Following an unofficial ceremony in Las Vegas after the Grammys in April 2022, the couple exchanged vows in a courthouse wedding in Los Angeles a month later. In May 2022, they had another celebration in Italy, attended by their family and children.

The Grammy nominee has two children, son Landon (19) and daughter Alabama (17), from his previous marriage to ex-wife Shanna Moakler. Barker was previously married to Moakler from 2004 to 2006. As they navigate co-parenting their kids, Barker also maintains a relationship with Moakler's 23-year-old daughter with ex Oscar De La Hoya, Atiana. Both Alabama and Atiana were present at the show on Friday and shared concert footage on their respective Instagram Stories.

Kourtney, on the other hand, has three children with her ex Scott Disick. They were in an on-and-off relationship from 2006 to 2015 and together they welcomed Mason, 13, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 8, before ultimately ending their relationship.

Since ending things with Scott Disick, who is known for his show "Flip It Like Disick," Kourtney has repeatedly denied pregnancy rumors on Instagram. In August 2021, when social media users speculated that she was expecting baby No. 4, the former E! personality responded, "I'm a woman with a body."

In March 2022, she once again raised speculation when she accompanied Barker to the Oscars. Sharing a photo on her Instagram Story from their dinner after the Academy Awards, she playfully captioned it as "Fried olives for two."

During the same month, in a trailer for The Kardashians, Kourtney was seen accompanying the musician to several doctor appointments, expressing their shared desire to start a family together by saying, "Travis and I want to have a baby."

During a segment on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in March 2021, Kourtney, a graduate of the University of Arizona, revealed that she had previously chosen to freeze her eggs. She expressed that the process gave her a sense of peace and reassurance. Kourtney explained that she initially agreed to undergo the procedure because she felt compelled to join others who were doing the same. However, after completing the first round of egg freezing, her doctor suggested another round for a better chance of a healthy batch of eggs. Kourtney firmly declined, stating that she had already exceeded her original intention by participating once.

In September 2022, Kardashian disclosed that she and her spouse had temporarily halted their fertility journey. She explained to WSJ. Magazine that they had initially embarked on an IVF journey but decided to take a break. Kardashian stated that it had become overwhelming, so she paused the process to prioritize their wedding and marriage.

Barker emphasized the authenticity of their decision to share their fertility journey with the public, acknowledging that it could provide support and relatability to others experiencing similar challenges. In an interview with GQ in November 2022, he expressed that witnessing Kourtney's difficulties with IVF was an honest portrayal of the hardships women face in the process. Additionally, he recognized the relatability for men who undergo semen donation for the same procedure, stating that he personally was unaffected by the exposure.
