Kendra Wilkinson Makes a Comeback: Triumph Over Depression and Anxiety

Kendra Wilkinson reveals progress in her battle with depression and anxiety, sharing an update on her mental health journey after seeking treatment and recovering from a recent panic attack

Kendra Wilkinson, 38, took to Instagram on Friday, November 10, to share her joyous news of her improved health. After experiencing a panic attack that resulted in a visit to the emergency room, she has successfully completed her treatment for depression and anxiety.

She continued, "Being a one-woman show can become burdensome at times and life can present its challenges. However, I strive to give my best and remain resilient with a positive mindset. Currently, I am regaining stability and moving forward."

The previous Playboy model also expressed her deep appreciation, mentioning that she has been spending time with supportive friends and ensuring the well-being of both her children and herself.

In September, it was confirmed that Wilkinson, who has a son Hank IV, 13, and a daughter Alijah, 9, with her ex-husband Hank Baskett, had a panic attack and visited the emergency room. According to Wilkinson's representative, she was not admitted and went home shortly after arriving at the hospital.

On Saturday, Wilkinson mentioned that she has resumed working in real estate after completing her treatment. She had previously started a second career as a realtor in Los Angeles, which was documented on her reality show Kendra Sells Hollywood, consisting of two seasons.

In May, Wilkinson spoke exclusively to Us about her new job and how it makes her feel good about herself when she successfully closes deals. She also mentioned that her children are proud of her achievements in business, rather than who she may be dating. Wilkinson expressed gratitude for the opportunity she has been given and stated that she wouldn't want a romantic relationship to distract or detract from this positive experience.

Having recently undergone treatment for anxiety and depression, Wilkinson's battle with mental health issues is not a new experience for her.

In a discussion on Melissa Gorga's "On Display" podcast in June, she shared her struggles after going through a divorce and losing everything she was familiar with, including her TV show. Wilkinson had previously enjoyed having a TV show each year until her divorce unfolded. However, the aftermath of the divorce left her without a marriage and a show, forcing her to move into a smaller house. Admitting her confusion about the situation, she emphasized the need for intensive healing.

Wilkinson explained that her 2018 divorce from Baskett, 41, and the cancellation of her Kendra on Top reality TV series “triggered my depression.”
