Kelly Ripa expressed her desire to set up her 26-year-old son with Sharon Stone, despite the significant age difference of 39 years between the actress and Michael. The revelation took place during Kelly's "Let's Talk Off Camera" podcast on Wednesday, November 8, where she discussed her wish with the 65-year-old actress.
Ripa expressed her desire to introduce her children, acknowledging that she has previously discussed them through direct messages. She further explained that her two sons have contrasting personalities and rarely agree on anything, except for their admiration of Sharon Stone's attractiveness. Ripa then went on to share an anecdote about how her sons would critique the suitability of Stone's on-screen romantic partners while watching one of her movies, like the 1995 crime drama Casino directed by Martin Scorsese, starring Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci.
"If my boys were to walk in, they'd be like, 'Yeah, right, as if Robert De Niro could ever have a shot with her'... 'Yeah, right, like Joe Pesci would even stand a chance with Sharon Stone,'" she mimicked.

Stone responded that De Niro and most of her movie husbands and boyfriends were always much older than her.
"These women consistently found themselves in relationships where they were 20, 25, or even 30 years younger than their male counterparts," added the winner of the prestigious Golden Globe award. "However, if we were to date someone who was just 10 years younger, we would instantly be labeled as cougars."
After that, Ripa enthusiastically assumed the role of a matchmaker.
"Sharon, I can introduce you to my 26-year-old son right away," Ripa playfully suggested. "Becoming my daughter-in-law would be the ultimate honor for our family. It would bring immense happiness into my life."
Stone refrained from immediately accepting or declining the proposition, but she did admit to previously dating men whose mothers were her age.
Ripa persisted in urging Stone to pursue a romantic relationship with Michael, to which the acclaimed actor of Basic Instinct category replied that she now prefers dating individuals aged 45 and above. Ripa and her spouse, Mark Consuelos, are parents to Lola, who is currently 22 years old. Nevertheless, Ripa's attention seems to primarily revolve around her sons when it comes to dating.
Ripa announced on her talk show last month that she had been attempting for a significant period of time to connect her sons with Lisa Rinna's daughters, Delilah and Amelia, who were featured on the reality show The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
However, after witnessing Amelia's debut on the runway during her initial fashion show, she eventually changed her mind about her sons being prepared for such experiences.
"I had a moment of realization," Ripa admitted with laughter. Subsequently, she reached out to Rinna, conveying, "Scratch that idea, my son wouldn't have a clue."
