Keke Palmer found love with Darius Jackson nearly two years before they welcomed their first child.
"You have truly been a heavenly blessing," Jackson proclaimed on his Instagram in August 2021, expressing his admiration for the Nope star. "I never could have anticipated how summer 2021 would unfold, but here we are. I am grateful that we were able to support each other during our most challenging moments and demonstrate that we give our all in everything we do."
In less than two years, the couple shared the joyful news in December 2022 that they were soon to become parents for the first time. Their son, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, was born in February 2023.
Continuing with a timeline of Palmer and Jackson’s relationship, shortly after baby Leo was born, personal trainer Jackson openly complimented Palmer. In a joint Twitch video in April 2023, he jokingly remarked, "This could be the first instance where I've seen you looking fantastic after giving birth. You appear stunning."
2021
The couple became acquainted in early 2021, just before Jackson attended Palmer's 28th birthday celebration. Photos from the event, which were posted on the former child star's Instagram in August, captured the couple embracing and sharing kisses throughout the festivities.
March 2022
During an interview with Bustle, Palmer issued her first comments about their relationship.
“This was a defining moment in my life where I fully embraced my boss mentality and did exactly as I pleased,” she shared with the outlet regarding her initial choice to keep their relationship undisclosed. "I have never been happier with someone before. So why would I go through the trouble of hiding this person? It requires a lot more effort than simply living my life and having them be a part of it. You know what I mean?"

December 2022
After Palmer fueled speculation that she was pregnant with her first child, she confirmed the rumors in her Saturday Night Live monologue.
"But honestly, this has been the greatest blessing, and I couldn't be more thrilled. I just wanted to share with you all that I'm going to become a mother," she joyfully exclaimed while lovingly cradling her growing belly on the 30 Rock stage. "Although some may find it a bit strange that I, being a former child actor, am having a baby, I want to make it clear that I am 29 years old, an adult in every sense, and capable of making my own decisions. I have a home and an active personal life, just like any other adult."
Meanwhile, Jackson observed the sketch show from behind the scenes and documented the experience by posting pictures on his Instagram Story.

The Scream Queens actress and her friends attended Usher's Las Vegas concert, and Palmer looked stunning in a black, sheer dress. Unfortunately, Jackson was not fond of her choice of outfit.
Despite facing criticism, Palmer chose not to address her comments immediately. Instead, she expressed enthusiasm about her evening out and subtly responded to his remarks. Sharing Instagram pictures from the show, she wrote, "I wish I had captured more moments, but we were running late! Let me tell you all, if you haven't seen @usher, you absolutely must go!! He was absolutely amazing! He brought such energy, talent, and charm to the stage. He truly inspired me as a performer. And by the way, I also dominated in spades!"
