Get ready for a potential surprise as sources hint that Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom's wedding might take place when least anticipated. Exclusive updates from insiders at Us Weekly.

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are keeping quiet about their upcoming wedding plans. According to a source in the latest issue of We, they are aiming to tie the knot by the end of the year. The couple, aged 39 and 47, want the wedding to happen at the right time for both of them.

The insider mentions that the proposal will probably come as a surprise. The couple first began dating in 2016, but they ended things after a year. However, they got back together and Bloom proposed to Perry in February 2019. Their first daughter, Daisy Dove, was born in August 2020. The source also reveals that they have talked about having more children.

“They’re definitely on the same page in terms of wanting to continue to expand their family,” the insider says.

Perry and Bloom’s daughter, Daisy, was seen in public recently during an episode of American Idol on May 13. As the “I Kissed a Girl” singer was busy judging contestants, the camera showed Bloom in the audience, holding Daisy on his lap.

Perry shared a heartfelt message on social media the day before Mother's Day, reflecting on her pregnancy and the love of her own mother.

In a post on May 12, she expressed, "Today I told my mother that the day I realized how much she loved me is the day I had my own daughter, Daisy Dove." Perry emphasized the special bond of a mother's love and reminded everyone to cherish it always. She ended by wishing a Happy Mother's Day to all the mothers and caretakers, in every form they may come.

Although Perry and Bloom have been quiet about their wedding plans, they are very open about their love for each other.

During an appearance on Trevor Noah's "What Now?" podcast last month, Bloom expressed his feelings about their relationship. He mentioned, "I wouldn’t change it for anything, even when sometimes it feels like, ‘How do we do this?’ Because we’ve got these two giant careers and lives — and hers is even … it’s like a universe sometimes."

He mentioned how he keeps trying to bring her back to the sand pit to build a sandcastle together.
