Kathie Lee Gifford's son, Cody Gifford, and his wife, Erika Brown, have joyfully welcomed their second baby. Erika announced the news on Instagram, introducing their newest addition, Ford Matthew Gifford, and expressing gratitude for the blessing.
Cody, 33, and Erika got married in September 2020 after seven years of being together. In December 2021, Kathie Lee announced that the couple was expecting their first child. She shared her excitement on Instagram, expressing her happiness for the couple and their family. Their son, Frankie, was born in May 2022, and Kathie Lee shared her joy and gratitude on Twitter, thanking God for the gift of their son.
One year later, Erika took to Instagram to share the exciting news that she and Cody were expecting their second child. "Baby Gifford #2 arriving this winter," she announced in June. "Thank you for all the love and prayers. It means the world to us. The Gifford family is growing to a party of 4!!"

While anticipating the arrival of their child, Erika shared with joy on Instagram in October about how special Frankie's reaction to her pregnancy had been. She recounted how he would come up to her belly, saying "hi!" and "baby," and showering it with kisses, and even pretending to feed the baby with his fork or pouring his bottle over her belly, which never failed to make them laugh. During a FaceTime call with @kathielgifford, Frankie even smeared his entire popsicle into her sweatshirt where her bump was, and then gave the baby a kiss. Erika marveled at how babies and kids seem to know things that adults do not, believing that they are close to heaven, and expressed her anticipation of seeing him in his role as a big brother. But for now, she cherished these precious moments with just him.

Erika reflected on her growing family as she marked the final weeks of her pregnancy. In a November Instagram post she wrote, "38 weeks today. The most grateful and excited to have made it to this week after a tougher pregnancy this time around and for my guys who are just my everything. Tis the season of extra thankfulness."
Kathie Lee was the mother of Cody and Cassidy Gifford, whom she shared with her late husband, Frank Gifford, who passed away in August 2015 at the age of 84. Cassidy married Ben Wierda in June 2020 and the couple welcomed son Finn in June of this year.
