Katherine Renee Kane is feeling content now that FBI season 6 has come to an end. Her character, Special Agent Tiffany “Tiff” Wallace, had quite a busy year.

Warning: Spoilers ahead for FBI season 6, episode 13.

The actress told We exclusively that she believes Tiff found closure during the May 21 episode of FBI. The team killed the man responsible for Special Agent Trevor Hobbs' death earlier this season.

Kane shared, "I see Tiff's journey in two ways. She dealt with trauma and guilt over Hobbs' death, as well as the unresolved issue of a terrorist on the loose. I believe she found resolution for both."

Kane recalled that Hobbs' death in season 6, episode 1 was particularly hard on Tiff. She was the one in charge when he was shot, making it a traumatic experience for her. In the episode that aired in February, a terrorist named Hakim Siran became suspicious of Hobbs, who was undercover, and tragically killed him in a restaurant bathroom.

Kane shared with Us that she believes the character felt a sense of responsibility. Jubal had encouraged her to take on more leadership roles, and she was eager to step up. She felt proud that her bosses had confidence in her abilities. However, when someone she cared about was taken out immediately after, it weighed heavily on her.

During the final moments of Tuesday's episode, the pressure to find justice for Hobbs intensified. Tiff, accompanied by Special Agent Maggie Bell, finally confronted her friend's killer, Hakim.

In a whirlwind of events, Tiff made the decision to shoot Hakim, claiming self-defense as she believed he was reaching for a hidden weapon. Maggie briefly questioned the cleanliness of the shot, but Special Agent Omar Adom "OA" Zidan located Hakim's gun and confirmed Tiff's account of the incident.

Kane mentioned that Tiff was taken aback by her teammates questioning her integrity in that moment. However, he also sees it as a chance for her to reflect on her actions and behavior, which he believes is not entirely unwarranted.

The actress confessed that during episode 8, Tiff was “very unhinged” and was “taking a lot of risks” following Hobbs’ passing.

Now, Kane mentioned that Tiff has used Hakim's clean shoot as a chance to show accountability and prove her integrity and trustworthiness.

At the end of the finale, Tiff met Hobbs' widow and shared the news that his killer had been brought to justice. Kane mentioned that while she is unsure if the Somalian terrorist group is completely finished, the team has successfully ended Hakim's reign of terror.

Kane mentioned that in season 7, Tiff will probably still be dealing with guilt as she continues to work on herself.

Kane also expressed her hope that fans will get to see different aspects of Tiff in the upcoming season, aside from her recovery from Hobbs' shooting.

Kane believes that it would be beneficial for her to become more relaxed and find more joy in her life. He appreciates her drive and passion for her work, which is why she is so well-liked. However, he would like to see different aspects of her personality as a woman.

He playfully suggested that this could potentially involve her exploring a romantic relationship. Only time will tell.

Season 7 of FBI will premiere on CBS in fall 2024.

After a tumultuous season, Agent Tiffany "Tiff" Wallace has found a sense of closure. The death of Agent Hobbs weighed heavily on her, but she played a pivotal role in bringing his killer to justice. Tiff's journey this season has been marked by both trauma and growth, as she grappled with her guilt and the unresolved issue of the terrorist threat. Through it all, she has proven her resilience and determination.

While Tiff may still be dealing with guilt in season 7, she is also eager to explore different aspects of her life. Her focus on work has been admirable, but it would be refreshing to see her find more balance and joy. A romantic relationship could potentially provide her with a different perspective and help her evolve as a character. As the show progresses, it will be fascinating to see how Tiff continues to navigate her personal and professional challenges, and how she grows and develops as a result.
