Takahiro Koizumi, the drummer, was recently reported to be dating a 20-year-old underground idol, who allegedly had an abortion. Koizumi confirmed the report during an interview with his band members. As a result, Kana-Boon decided to part ways with Koizumi and Hip Land Music Corp terminated his contract. Additionally, guitarist Hayato Koga was also interviewed regarding multiple reports of misbehavior.

Editor's P/S
As a dedicated fan of Kana-Boon, I am deeply saddened by the news of their hiatus. The band's music has been an integral part of my life, and their songs have accompanied me through countless moments of joy, excitement, and inspiration. The Naruto and My Hero Academia theme songs hold a special place in my heart, and it's heartbreaking to know that I won't be able to experience their live performances for the foreseeable future.
The circumstances surrounding the band's hiatus are unfortunate and disappointing. The departure of two key members, guitarist Hayato Koga and drummer Takahiro Koizumi, has left a void that cannot be easily filled. I understand the band's decision to suspend activities, as it would be challenging to continue without such integral members. However, I can't help but feel a sense of loss and longing for the music that Kana-Boon has brought into my life.
