Philadelphia Eagles fans engaged in a competitive bidding war for a letterman jacket signed by Kylie Kelce, sparking a buzz. The highly sought-after item was ultimately won by another beloved Philadelphia couple. During the "New Heights" podcast on November 29, Jason and Travis Kelce announced the winner of the auction, longtime Eagles supporter Rob McElhenney. The final bid reached an impressive $100,000, with the auction raising funds for the Eagles Autism Foundation.
46-year-old McElhenney shared how he became involved in the giveaway, stating "I was just on Twitter when I saw that the jacket was up for auction for a great foundation that we have strong connections to. I really loved the jacket and thought it was beautiful, so I decided to contribute $10,000. Within a couple of days, someone had bid $20,000."
He expressed surprise at the quick increase in the bid, saying "I thought, 'Wow, alright. Now we’re getting serious.'" However, after upping his offer to $25,000, he was outbid again, leading him to feel personally invested in winning the jacket.
The auction was conducted anonymously, yet McElhenney was certain that Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie was his main rival. "They were facing technical difficulties [on the site] because I was aggressively hitting the button," he joked. "I couldn't believe someone was instantly countering every bid I made."
Kylie Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles/TMX SPORTS REPORT+ revealed that McElhenney placed another bid of $62,000 to honor Jason, the Eagles center's jersey number. He later found out that a person he lived with had been countering his offers, receiving a text calling him a "bozo" for not realizing.
Kaitlin Olson, McElhenney’s wife, made a surprise appearance on the podcast to share that she had been competing against her husband online. Jason jokingly called it "an inside job" while Travis praised Olson for her clever tactics.
At 48 years old, Olson also expressed her support for the Eagles Autism Foundation and remarked that the jacket was designed specifically for women. She humorously revealed that she kept tabs on McElhenney's bidding through social media and comments from Jason Kelce, who claimed he was crashing the site. Olson retorted, "No, no, I’ll be crashing the site."

The couple, co-stars on the popular series It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, expressed their honor in contributing to a good cause. "Basically, I win," Olson stated, "He will not be wearing the jacket, ever." She also complimented Kylie's appearance in the vintage Kelly Green jacket, to which Jason responded, "She has a way of making anything look good."

McElhenney's fans closely followed his activity on X (formerly Twitter), witnessing his multiple bids before the auction's close. "A great cause and the most amazing jacket ever made? Yes please. @JasonKelce @Eagles @eaglesautism," he tweeted earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Kylie has been deeply involved with the Eagles charity for several years. "EAF knows they can't shake me off," she stated in a January interview with The Philadelphia Inquirer. "Even if I'm not there officially, I'll continue to volunteer. When football eventually ends - although let's face it, I don't think it ever will - and when Jason stops regularly snapping the football, I still can't imagine us not being part of EAF. We have a personal connection and could never walk away."
