Simultaneously, Shiba hypothesized that due to the assistance of Kamunabi, Sojo's henchmen would abstain from appearing. Nevertheless, he counseled everyone to maintain a low profile for the time being.

In the chapter, it was revealed that Norisaku Madoka, the Daruma-sorcerer, bore the weight of his painful past. His family had cast him aside due to his connections with Sojo. However, it was through Shiba's guidance that he found solace and resolved to embark on a new path in life.

In a shocking turn of events, before he could even process the horrific scene, Sojo, the ruthless mafia boss, appeared and stabbed Madoka from behind. Sojo sought revenge on Madoka's family for failing to fulfill a task for him. After mercilessly killing the Daruma sorcerer, Sojo then targeted another sorcerer, extracting information about Chihiro's whereabouts.

In Chapter 8, Sojo successfully infiltrated Chihiro's hideout, ready to jump straight into action. With his blade unsheathed, he immediately targeted Hinao. However, Chihiro's quick reflexes saved her life by timely blocking the attack. The mafia boss confidently announced his intention to engage in a duel with the wielder of an enchanted blade.

Anger surged within Chihiro as he caught sight of the Cloud Gouger. The chapter concluded as he drew his sword, Enten, ready to confront Genichi Sojo, fully aware of his own limitations.

As a Gen Z fan, I am eagerly anticipating the release of Kagurabachi chapter 9. The previous chapter left us with a major cliffhanger, and I can't wait to see what happens next. Sojo is a ruthless and powerful sorcerer, but Chihiro is a skilled swordsman with a strong sense of justice. It will be interesting to see who comes out on top.
