According to the spoilers, Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 240 is titled “Foolish Survivor, Survive.”

The chapter opens with a flashback, where Angel advises Yuta, Hakari, and the others to attack Kenjaku before Gojo and Sukuna's battle concludes. Their victory against Sukuna would be in vain if Kenjaku succeeded in merging the people of Japan with Tengen.

They realize that if they were defeated by Sukuna, they would not have enough time to confront Kenjaku's followers. Conversely, if they emerged victorious against Sukuna, they would be too exhausted to battle Kenjaku. Kusakabe contemplates sending Maki to catch Kenjaku off guard but is hesitant to divide their attacking strength. Angel proposes that Takaba be dispatched to confront Kenjaku.

Amidst widespread skepticism, Angel cautioned against repeating the forthcoming revelation, not even to Takaba himself. Subsequently, she unveiled Takaba's mysterious technique, but Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 240 abruptly diverted to the ongoing battle before the name could be discerned. On the battlefield, Takaba demonstrated an imperviousness to the centipede Curses hurled his way by Kenjaku.

He proceeded to cleverly place Kenjaku inside a bandana and a glass, clearly intended as a joke. This made Kenjaku realize that Takaba's Cursed Technique might have the ability to manifest his imagination. Despite Kenjaku's vast knowledge accumulated over thousands of years, it would not be effective against Takaba. However, Kenjaku reminded the comedian that every technique has its weaknesses.

Takaba and Kenjaku then engaged in a verbal battle, primarily revolving around how Takaba had emerged victorious in a comedy competition in the past. Upon discovering Kenjaku's desire to drive human evolution, merely for the sake of finding it interesting, Takaba reached a peculiar conclusion - that Kenjaku needed to laugh.

As Kenjaku attempts to make Kenjaku laugh, his jokes are met with criticism by the Curse. Kenjaku realizes that Takaba's technique relies on his unwavering self-confidence, which is undermined by the criticism. This presents an opportunity for Kenjaku to successfully strike Takaba. Fueled by anger, Takaba proposes a game where the objective is to avoid laughing and ultimately lose.

In an amusing gesture, he pulled a silly expression towards Kenjaku, prompting Kenjaku to retaliate by revealing his true form by removing his forehead. This caused Takaba to burst into laughter, unknowingly giving Kenjaku an opportunity to strike him with a stronger blow. As Takaba landed near the lifeless body of Hazenoki, his confidence shattered completely. Doubt started to consume him as he questioned his decision to pursue a career in comedy, especially with Kenjaku closing in on him.
