Aubrey Plaza, who portrays Harper Spiller, pleasantly surprised her fans in May 2021 by announcing her marriage to Jeff Baena after being in a relationship for ten years. The Parks and Recreation star casually revealed the union on Instagram, referring to Baena as her "husband."

Seven months later, Plaza humorously revealed that she and her partner made their relationship official during a moment of boredom amid the coronavirus pandemic. In a December 2021 interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, she playfully mentioned using a website called Onehourmarriage.com. "Look it up, it's real," she added. Plaza explained that due to the lockdown, things became a bit chaotic, leading them to spontaneously get married. An officiant was called to their home to conduct the ceremony, although Plaza admitted that her memory of the event is hazy. Nonetheless, she believes it is likely legally binding.

Her costar Michael Imperioli portrays the role of Dominic Di Grasso, a serial cheater, on The White Lotus. However, in real life, he has been happily married to Victoria Chlebowski since 1996. Victoria even accompanied him to Italy while he was filming the HBO series. Despite the enjoyable experience, things took an awkward turn during the filming of his character's threesome scene. Michael recounted his concern during a November 2022 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, realizing that his wife was sleeping just above the hot tub where the scene was being filmed. He feared that if she woke up and looked out the window, she would see him practically naked with his two Italian costars, engaging in mischief in the hot tub.

Imperioli playfully mentioned that he attempted to persuade show creator Mike White that Dominic was not a fan of hot tubs, but to no avail. White only suggested that music be played to make the actors more at ease. Imperioli recalled expressing his disapproval, questioning what kind of music should be played and emphasizing the need for silence since people were sleeping.

Despite Chlebowsi seemingly remaining asleep throughout the shoot, Imperioli revealed that she still bombarded him with questions about his work when he returned to their room in the early morning hours. His wife inquired about the duration of the night, his level of exhaustion, and whether the experience was challenging. Imperioli responded by admitting his fatigue but denying any difficulties, assuring her it was a breeze.

The Goodfellas actor shared, "My wife asked me, 'Was it a long night?' 'Are you tired?' Yeah, I'm pretty exhausted," he responded. "She also asked, 'Was it difficult?' Absolutely not! I promise."

Aubrey Plaza

The Safety Not Guaranteed star has been in a relationship with Baena since 2011. They discreetly got married at their home in 2021.
