Debbie Aguero believes that her son Julian would have concerns if she maintained a friendship with her ex-partner Oussama Berber. However, this does not imply that the men are still engaged in a feud. Providing an exclusive update to We, Debbie, aged 67, shared insights into the current state of her son's relationship with Oussama following their intense altercation on the 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way season 4 tell-all, which was aired in May.
Debbie reminisced about the time when Oussama reached out to Julian and personally expressed his affection and genuine concern for her well-being. This happened during an interview with Us on Tuesday, September 26, as she promoted season 10 of 90 Day Fiancé. Shortly after, Julian called her and reassured her that Oussama truly loved her. However, Debbie couldn't help but wonder how that could be true, considering the peculiar way in which he demonstrated his love.
Debbie mentioned that despite their differences, her son has chosen to forgive Oussama. They ended their relationship on season 4 of The Other Way when Debbie intended to marry Oussama in Morocco, but he expressed his desire to live in the U.S.
“My son is similar to me in many ways, especially when it comes to having a generous and compassionate nature,” Debbie shared. “He went as far as suggesting, ‘Mom, why don't we consider sending some financial assistance from time to time to support the animals' well-being or to contribute towards someone's dental expenses?’ His willingness to step up and be involved in such acts of kindness filled me with immense pride.”

The TLC personality mentioned that Julian did not achieve straight A's in school, which would anger his father and result in complaining. However, this did not worry Debbie. "I told Julian that it's more important to be a good person than to achieve straight A's. That's why I'm really proud of my son," she further added.
Given Julian's previous criticism of Oussama during the tell-all, accusing him of lying to Debbie and manipulating her for a green card, his reconciliation with Oussama may come as a surprise to viewers.
"He is not telling the truth. As a police officer, I have a keen sense for detecting lies. Consider yourself fortunate that my mother even granted you a brief moment of her time," Julian angrily exclaimed during the tell-all, expressing his disapproval of Oussama's actions. "You're attempting to manipulate others, seeking green cards and taking advantage of vulnerable elderly women. Find legitimate employment instead of preying on others!"
Julian also labeled Oussama as a "psychopath" for allegedly bombarding his mother with 60 text messages within a two-hour period. "This situation needs to come to an end... along with his relentless stalking behavior," Julian remarked.
Debbie, on the other hand, confided in Us on Tuesday about her longstanding desire for a "happily ever after" with Oussama. Yet, having been "hurt" and "burned" by him, she made it known that there was no possibility of reconciliation.

"I have become extremely sensitive. It feels like you have completely shattered my trust and there's really nothing you can do to fix it. I want you to have a happy future with someone who is the right age and someone you are willing to defend and fight for," Debbie confessed to Us. "But he was not willing to do that for me."
Despite Oussama's attempts to reconnect after the tell-all, Debbie informed Us that she has successfully cut off all communication with him. "We last spoke about a month ago, and he was apologizing profusely. We decided that this is it, we are ending things and will no longer have any contact," she recalled. "And for the first time in several years, he has respected that."
