Josh Hartnett and Tamsin Egerton were the picture of love as they strolled down the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars on Sunday, March 10.

Hartnett, 45, looked dashing in a classic tuxedo with a white bow tie as he made his entrance at the 96th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Accompanying him was Egerton, who turned heads in a stunning gold gown. The pair couldn't hide their happiness as they posed for the cameras, flashing big smiles.

Hartnett made an appearance at the Academy Awards following his supporting role in the highly praised film Oppenheimer, which has received multiple Oscar nominations, including Best Picture.

Less than a month after announcing the arrival of their fourth child, Hartnett and Egerton made a rare appearance together at the Oscars.

At the 2024 Screen Actors Guild Awards on February 24, the actor casually mentioned his exciting news while talking about his comeback to acting.

During a chat with Gold Derby, he mentioned, "I have four kids and I live in the countryside. My days are filled with either working or looking after them."

The couple started dating almost a year after finishing filming their movie, The Lovers, which came out in 2013.

“They seem to really like being together,” a source shared with We magazine in May 2013. “It just happened naturally. He mentioned that she was very kind. She showed him around London, even though he was already familiar with the city.”

In 2015, the couple had their first child and then welcomed their second baby in August 2017. In January 2021, Hartnett revealed that they had also welcomed a third child in late 2019.

During an interview with Mr. Porter, the actor expressed his pride in being a father of three and having a strong relationship with his partner, leading to a fulfilling family life. He mentioned that he continues to do good work and finds the characters he portrays more intriguing as he grows older.

Us revealed in March 2022 that Egerton and Hartnett got married in November 2021 after years of keeping their relationship private. Hartnett has been open about stepping away from Hollywood to prioritize his family.

In December 2021, Hartnett revealed that stepping back from acting had greatly benefited his mental well-being.

During an interview with Sunrise, he expressed that prioritizing a stable home life and having the opportunity to engage in exciting projects like filmmaking was truly a privilege.

Two years later, Hartnett shared with The Independent that he spends most of his time at home with his family, emphasizing the importance of balancing work and personal life for a healthy mind.
