Following a two-week trial in Manhattan, Majors was found guilty by a jury of six on one count of assault and one count of harassment.

Majors was disclosed by prosecutors to have assaulted his then girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, resulting in her sustaining a broken finger and a swollen arm and ear.

In court, Jabbari recounted that Majors had attacked her after she took his phone out of his hands upon seeing a text message from another woman. She also disclosed additional occasions where he had shown extreme anger, describing Majors as having a "violent temper."

Prosecutor Kelli Galaway argued in closing that Jabbari had molded herself to fit the defendant's personality in order to avoid his anger.

As a passionate fan of the MCU, I am deeply disappointed and saddened by the news of Jonathan Majors' conviction for assault. His actions are completely unacceptable and have no place in our society, let alone in the entertainment industry. It is crucial that Marvel took swift action to remove him from the franchise, sending a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated.

The allegations against Majors are truly disturbing, and it is heartbreaking to hear the details of the physical and emotional abuse he inflicted on his former partner. It is important to remember that domestic violence is a serious issue that affects millions of people around the world, and it is never right. I hope that Majors' conviction will bring justice to his victim and serve as a reminder that violence against women is never acceptable.
