John Legend Bonds with Son Miles Courtside at Lakers Game

John Legend, who recently became a father to two children with his wife Chrissy Teigen in 2023, decided to dedicate valuable time to his oldest son, Miles. They attended a basketball game where the Los Angeles Lakers competed against the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday, November 12th. The event took place at L.A.'s Crypto.com Arena. For the occasion, John Legend, aged 44, was seen wearing a stylish all-black outfit consisting of a black leather jacket, shirt, pants, and black combat boots. Accompanying his father's ensemble, Miles, who is 5 years old, looked delightful in a Batman T-shirt and white sneakers.

"Awesome game and seats, courtesy of @lakers! Thanks for the experience!" Legend shared, accompanying a courtside selfie with Miles on Instagram. The post also featured a snapshot of the duo displayed on the arena's Jumbotron.

In 2018, Legend and Teigen joyfully welcomed their second child, Miles, following the birth of their daughter Luna, who is now 7, two years earlier. The couple, who tied the knot in 2013, experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage in September 2020 and publicly disclosed that they named their lost son Jack.

Their family grew larger earlier this year when their daughter Esti, now 13 months old, arrived in January, followed by the birth of their son Wren, now 4 months old, in June. (Wren was born via surrogacy.)

Just a month after Wren's birth, an exclusive source informed us that Legend and Teigen had decided they were done having children after their fourth baby. "Despite enjoying having a bustling household, they feel that anything more would be too much for them," the insider revealed.

To commemorate his baby boy, Legend took to Instagram and shared a heartwarming selfie with his sons. In a July slideshow of pictures, he captioned the post with "The boys," showcasing moments of Miles playing with his hair and Wren relaxing on a pillow.

Legend takes pride in his role as a father and often showcases his family through social media. Last month, he shared another Instagram selfie with Teigen, Luna, and Esti, captioning it "Me and my girls."

The entire family attended Legend and Teigen's 10th wedding anniversary vow renewal ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, in September. Teigen shared a heartfelt Instagram slideshow of family photos from the trip, expressing her gratitude for their friends, family, and lives. Shortly after the celebration, another source revealed that the couple was already discussing their next marriage celebration, planning to do it again in 10 years, with their friends eagerly anticipating the occasion.
