Jillian Michaels' Lavish Italian Wedding: Unveiling the Glitz and Glamour of her Third Ceremony

Jillian Michaels and DeShanna Marie Minuto celebrated their second wedding with a lavish ceremony at the Aman hotel in Venice, Italy. The fitness guru, aged 49, and Minuto, aged 38, tied the knot on Saturday, June 24. According to Michaels, Minuto planned the entire event as Italy is her favorite country and holds significance for her being from a big Italian family.

During a welcome event on Friday, June 23rd, held at the Belmond Cipriani, both brides adorned themselves in Dolce & Gabbana for a sunset dinner that required guests to arrive by boat. The next day, with 50 witnesses, the couple exchanged vows. Minuto wore a traditional white wedding gown crafted by Zuhair Murad, while Michaels selected a dazzling black dress by the same designer.

Following the ceremony and reception, the newlyweds and their guests traveled by boat to the Chiesetta della Misericordia, a church transformed into a nightclub for a masquerade-themed afterparty. The celebration, featuring acrobatic performances, continued late into the night with abundant dancing.

“It’s like a dream finally realized,” Michaels expressed, referring to her bond with Minuto. “Together, we stand united in the face of any adversity. Come what may, we are unwavering in our loyalty and support for one another.”

After dating for over two years, Michaels and Minuto became engaged in November 2021. Michaels shared the news on Instagram, writing, "1153 days... here's to many more. She said 'yes' ❤️." Minuto also shared a picture of her engagement ring, captioning it with a simple "YES!"

Their initial wedding occurred in July 2022 with a modest courthouse ceremony in Miami. Following this, they traveled to Namibia, where they had an elopement ceremony officiated by the Himba tribe. In an Instagram caption, Michaels expressed her gratitude and excitement for marrying Deshanna Marie, describing their elopement in Africa as a remarkable and life-changing experience. She added that these moments will be cherished for a lifetime.

Michaels and Minuto's romantic relationship was confirmed in 2019 following Michaels' separation from her long-term partner, Heidi Rhoades. Michaels and Rhoades, aged 42, became engaged in 2015 but ended their relationship three years later. They have two children together, daughter Lukensia, aged 13, and son Phoenix, aged 12.
