Jeremy Renner has fully healed from the life-threatening incident he encountered in January, but it has left a lasting impact on him. The renowned actor, known for his role in "Avengers," was severely injured near his residence in Nevada. In an attempt to prevent his snow-removal tractor from colliding with his nephew, he was thrust under its weight, resulting in multiple fractures. These included eight broken ribs, a fractured eye socket, knee, and shoulder.
Renner recently discussed his recuperation from the accident and the transformations he has experienced in the last nine months during an interview with CNN.
"I feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to be able to stand on my feet, walk, and embrace life," Renner expressed. "I am fully aware of how streamlined my life has become. There is no room for unnecessary distractions anymore. I simply don't have the time for that. Hence, there is something truly remarkable about possessing this newfound strength."
Renner expressed that he now values his time even more. After the accident, he decided to travel to Charleston, S.C., where he joined forces with local spirits brand Sweet Grass Vodka, with whom he had collaborated prior to the incident.
"I was adamant about how I want to utilize my time and the people I choose to be around," he explained. "This partnership feels like being part of a family, discussing lifestyle matters we frequently talk about. Additionally, there is the shared experience that comes with the spirit itself. It is in those moments that I wish to invest my time."
Renner expressed the valuable treasures he believes he acquired following his near-death experience.
"I have received numerous blessings as a consequence," Renner stated. "When you are tested in every aspect - physically, emotionally, spiritually - and manage to overcome it, the profundity of that cannot be easily described."
Renner appeared both physically and mentally rejuvenated, expressing gratitude for his restored ability to move freely.
"I've come to realize that perseverance and inner strength play a crucial role in overcoming challenges. I've learned to handle pain and view it as a mental obstacle that can be conquered. It's truly a mind game; if you can navigate through the overwhelming feelings, I consider myself extremely fortunate."
