Jennifer Lopez's Atlas movie will have its Los Angeles premiere on Monday, May 20. Despite being the star of the Netflix sci-fi thriller, all attention will be on her for a different reason.

After reports surfaced that Lopez, 54, and Ben Affleck were facing challenges in their marriage but are not ending things yet, fans will be eagerly watching the Atlas red carpet to see if Affleck, 51, will be there to show his support for his wife.

The movie, which will be released on Friday, May 24, features Simu Liu, Sterling K. Brown, and Lana Parilla alongside Lopez.

Exclusive photos obtained by In Touch showed the duo in Los Angeles on Thursday, May 17, following reports that they had not been seen together in 47 days, sparking rumors of a split.

Affleck was photographed driving a black SUV with a serious expression on his face, while Lopez, dressed casually in wide-leg jeans and an ivory blouse, patiently waited for him to open the passenger door.

This sighting occurred following reports from an insider who mentioned to Us earlier this week that Lopez and Affleck began experiencing difficulties a few months ago. The source noted that Jen had been increasing her work commitments and preparing for her upcoming tour.

Jennifer Lopez, known for her role in Hustlers, will begin her This Is Me … Live tour in Orlando next month. The tour follows the launch of her ninth album, This Is Me … Now, in February, along with the release of a film called This Is Me … Now: A Love Story.

“Jen is very focused on work,” the source added. “They are on two completely different pages most of the time.”

Affleck and Lopez first met in 2002 while filming Gigli, a romantic comedy. They got engaged in November, but decided to call off their wedding in September 2003 because of too much media scrutiny. Eventually, they ended their relationship in January 2004.

“They both thought it was a fun and casual way to tie the knot,” an insider exclusively told Us at the time.
