Jennifer Lopez relies on her trainers Dodd Romero and Tracy Anderson to help her stay in top physical shape. "Jennifer is in the best shape of her life," Romero reveals in a recent interview. "She is strong and never complains. She follows my instructions without hesitation."
Lopez, aged 54, works out three days a week with Romero. According to Romero, the singer's resistance training session typically includes three sets of hanging ab raises, rope crunches, and weighted sumo-style plié squats. Lopez focuses on toning her glutes during these sessions, with her favorite move being a supportive lunge.
Apart from training with Romero, Lopez has also been following the Tracy Anderson Method since giving birth to her twins, Emme and Max, who are now 16 years old. This method combines dance aerobics with Anderson's band system, where bands attached to the ceiling are used to create tension.
Anderson shared that Jennifer Lopez follows a 10-move leg program that targets the glutes and cinches the waist. The program involves exercises like leg pulses and box step-ups with 1.5-pound ankle weights. Lopez values staying active and does what is necessary to maintain her fitness.
Lopez's intense exercise routine is complemented by her nutritious diet.
Romero explained that as you age, it's important to be stricter about your diet. He mentioned that Lopez usually stays away from sugar and dairy, but still allows herself to indulge occasionally.
He added that if Lopez's kids want to have a less healthy meal, she will join them without being too strict. Lopez is not rigid when it comes to enjoying meals with her family.

Lopez's trainer, Romero, mentioned in 2019 that she avoids alcohol and caffeine and makes sure to drink at least seven glasses of water daily. He also highlighted her preference for whole foods over processed ones.
Recently, Lopez shared her journey to achieving her best physical shape on Live With Kelly and Mark.
I recently finished filming a movie called Kiss of the Spider Woman. It involved a lot of singing and dancing, which was both exciting and tiring. I'm currently in the best shape I've ever been in and feeling strong.
After preparing for the movie adaptation, I am now feeling prepared for my upcoming tour. I will be starting my This Is Me... Live tour next month in Orlando, following the release of my ninth album, This Is Me... Now, in February. This tour will be my first one since 2019.
Lopez has been busy with her music and acting projects. Currently, she is in Mexico promoting her new sci-fi film Atlas, set to be released on Friday, May 24. Due to her packed schedule, she has been spending less time with her husband Ben Affleck. Recently, she attended the Atlas Los Angeles premiere alone on Monday, May 20, while Affleck, 51, was busy filming his upcoming sequel The Accountant 2.
