Jennifer Lopez is set to start off 2024 with the release of a fresh single, an upcoming album, and a visually stunning film that showcases her extraordinary life and romance with Ben Affleck.
At the age of 54, Lopez revealed on November 27th that her ninth studio album, This Is Me … Now, is set to be released on February 16, 2024, under Nuyorican/BMG. This release will mark J. Lo's return to a full-length solo album after almost a decade, following her last LP, A.K.A., released in June 2014. Lopez also announced that the album's first single, "Can't Get Enough," will be available on streaming services on January 10th, kicking off the new year for her fans.
In addition, the singer shared that This Is Me … Now: The Film will debut on Prime Video on the same day as her album release. Directed by music video director Dave Meyers, the film promises to be a narrative-driven, intimate, reflective, sexy, funny, fantastical, and highly visual musical reimagining of her love life, according to a press release.
The film teaser was shared on social media, featuring Lopez recalling her childhood dream of being "in love." Affleck, 51, makes a cameo appearance in the teaser, seen riding a motorcycle across a rain-covered salt flat. Writing credits include Lopez, her husband, and Matt Walton.
Meyers has collaborated with Lopez on her music videos for “I’m Real,” “I’m Gonna Be Alright,” and “All I Have.” He has also recently worked with Ed Sheeran on “Bad Habits,” Harry Styles on “Falling” and “Adore You,” Ariana Grande on “Positions,” Taylor Swift on “Me!”, and Billie Eilish on “Bad Guy.” Check out his latest work on his Instagram.

The couple, famously known as "Bennifer," first met in early 2002 during the filming of "Gigli." Their engagement was announced in November 2002 but their September 2003 wedding was postponed. In a 2017 interview with Vanity Fair, Lopez reflected on the public self-destruction of her relationship with Affleck.
Lopez and Affleck went their separate ways in January 2004 and started families with other people. Lopez married Marc Anthony in 2004 and gave birth to their twins, Max and Emme, in 2008. Affleck, meanwhile, wed Jennifer Garner in 2005. They welcomed daughters Violet and Seraphina in 2005 and 2009 and son Samuel in 2012.
