Jennifer Aniston took to Instagram Story on Sunday, April 7 to wish her friend Paul Rudd a happy birthday. She wrote, "Happy Birthday Paul Rudd! I love you, you ageless freak!" Jennifer's message showed her love and admiration for Paul on his special day.
Aniston also posted a clip from their movie Wanderlust, released in 2012. The clip showed Rudd, 55, shocking Kathryn Hahn and others by killing a fly in a scene.
The two actors have worked together in various projects, such as the 1998 film The Newton Boys and the popular TV show Friends from 2002 to 2004. It was on the set of Friends that Rudd and Aniston first met, with Rudd admitting later that their initial interaction was not smooth.
During my first episode on set, Jennifer was on a Segway because she had broken her toe. Everyone was amazed by it. Matt LeBlanc wanted to try it out and picked it up quickly. I also wanted to give it a shot.
As I spun around on the Segway, I accidentally rolled it over Jennifer's foot. The producers looked panicked, probably thinking, 'Is it too late to replace him? Has his character been set?' I felt terrible about such a clumsy start.

Rudd also shared a funny moment he had with Aniston while they were filming the final episode. He mentioned feeling out of place since the show was such a big deal and he was only in the last episode for no apparent reason. He saw Aniston crying on set and decided to lighten the mood by jokingly saying, "Well, we did it, what a ride." Unfortunately, the jokes didn't quite land as he had hoped.
Aniston finally confirmed the long-standing rumors about her relationship with Rudd. She revealed that they were actually together when they were just 12 years old, putting an end to the speculation.
Rudd and Aniston have moved on from their past relationship. Rudd married Julie Yaeger in February 2003 and they have two children together, Jack and Darby. Aniston, on the other hand, was previously married to Brad Pitt in 2000, but they split in 2005. She later married Justin Theroux in August 2015, but the couple decided to separate three years later.
Aniston shared her optimistic outlook on her dating life with Elle in 2018. She mentioned that she considers her marriages to be successful from her own perspective. She explained that when they ended, it was a decision made in order to prioritize happiness. Sometimes, that happiness could no longer be found within the relationship.
