Gwyneth Paltrow made an appearance on the latest episode of the popular hot wing interview show "Hot Ones." Her reaction to eating the spicy wings was impressive.
Before even taking a bite, the Oscar-winner and Goop founder confessed that she was feeling a sense of regret about agreeing to participate in the interview. She mentioned that she enjoys some spice in her food, but felt unprepared for the heat of the wings.
Paltrow surprised both viewers and herself by effortlessly handling a variety of topics while eating increasingly spicy chicken wings, all while maintaining her signature radiant appearance.
She didn't keep her struggles to herself, instead, she jokingly mentioned to the show's host Sean Evans that she was losing his trust and that her "breathing is sort of an issue but I'm sure that'll pass."
Around the halfway mark, Paltrow remained mostly composed physically. However, some of her answers to Evans' questions became a bit unhinged, such as when he inquired about former President Bill Clinton falling asleep during a White House screening of her 1996 film "Emma."
"He was snoring loudly in front of me. I couldn't help but chuckle to myself, thinking this movie is going to be a big hit," she said with a laugh. "And it turned out to be a hit, so... yeah, take that Bill Clinton!"
As she took a bite of the wing drenched in the infamous and mouth-numbing hot sauce known as "Da Bomb," she calmly endured the intense heat, describing it as "excruciatingly painful."
“Wow,” the lifestyle mogul said, in her zen state. “The violation is intense.”
Namaste, Gwyneth.
