Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet have officially settled their divorce.

TMZ obtained documents on Tuesday, January 9, showing that the former couple reached a settlement just one day after Bonet, 56, filed for divorce from Momoa, 44. They have agreed to share custody of their two children, daughter Lola, 16, and son Nakoa-Wolf, 15, without any formal child support pay. Additionally, they have waived their rights to spousal support and will have their single status restored on July 9, according to the documents.

Bonet initiated divorce proceedings on January 8, following their announcement of the separation two years prior. According to documents obtained by We, Bonet cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, listing the couple’s date of separation as October 7, 2020 - which coincided with her and Momoa’s three-year wedding anniversary. The couple, who had been together since 2005, tied the knot in October 2017, and announced their separation in January 2022, after almost five years of marriage.

“We have all experienced the impact and turbulence of these transformative times. A revolution is unfolding, and our family is no exception. We are feeling and growing from the seismic shifts occurring,” the pair wrote in a joint Instagram statement at the time. “And so, we share our Family news: That we are parting ways in marriage. We share this not because we think it’s newsworthy, but so that, as we go about our lives, we may do so with dignity and honesty.”

Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet, in a joint message, said, "We empower each other to grow into the best versions of ourselves. Our commitment to our sacred life and our children is unbreakable. We are teaching our children to explore the possibilities and to live with love. May love always prevail. J & L."

Following the news of Momoa and Bonet's separation making headlines, a source revealed exclusively to Us that their differing personalities were a contributing factor to the split.

"The insider explained, "He was lively, outgoing, and the life of the party, while Lisa was consistently composed, calm, and reserved. This contrast in energy started to create tension as they desired different lifestyles. Jason sought more travel and adventure, while Lisa preferred to read, write poetry, and cook at home."
