Jackson Mahomes Receives 6 Months Probation for Battery Charge, Jail Sentence Suspended by Judge

Jackson Mahomes, sibling of Patrick Mahomes, has been granted a six-month unsupervised probation following a battery charge, potentially avoiding incarceration.

Patrick Mahomes’ younger brother, Jackson Mahomes, has been sentenced to six months of probation and is expected to avoid a 120-day jail term after being convicted of battery. It has been confirmed.

Jackson, who is 23 years old, attended a court hearing on Thursday, March 7, via video conference. According to court documents obtained by Us, he pleaded no contest to a single misdemeanor charge of battery. The judge ruled him guilty of the offense after prosecutors decided to drop three other charges of aggravated sexual battery in January.

The judge sentenced Jackson to 120 days in jail and six months probation. However, according to KCTV, Kansas City’s CBS news affiliate, the judge decided to suspend his jail time as long as Jackson follows the conditions of his probation.

Jackson’s attorney, Brandan Davies, mentioned in a statement on Saturday, March 9, that Jackson is grateful for the support he received from his family and friends over the past year. Jackson pleaded no contest to a single count of simple battery and was placed on six months of unsupervised probation. Davies stated that Jackson simply wanted to put the case behind him and move forward with his life. The matter is now closed, and there will be no further statements issued.

Jackson faced an investigation for assault in February 2023 following allegations made by Aspen Vaughn, the owner of Aspens Restaurant and Lounge in Kansas City. Vaughn accused Jackson of forcefully kissing her and behaving aggressively towards other staff members. Jackson's lawyer refuted these accusations by stating that there was substantial evidence, including witness statements, contradicting Vaughn's claims.

In May 2023, Jackson was arrested on four charges connected to Vaughn's allegations. He was required to pay a bail amount of $100,000.

Members of Jackson’s family have also refuted the allegations.

She mentioned that the difficult times brought her family closer together, including all of her children. Despite facing challenges, they stayed united in love and support while trying to avoid negative media attention and criticism.

Randi, the mother of Jackson and Patrick, 28, from her previous marriage with Pat Mahomes Sr., proudly talked about her second son's achievements.

"He is the only one in our family who has graduated from college. He's ahead of Patrick now, so be ready," Randi excitedly shared. "I used to say that Patrick was the athlete in the family, but Jackson has the potential to excel in any career he chooses. He's destined for success."

Patrick leads the Kansas City Chiefs as their starting quarterback, guiding the team to victory in the Super Bowl three times. Their most recent win came in February when they defeated the San Francisco 49ers to secure the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
