Who won the Netflix Cup?
Netflix has announced the inauguration of "The Netflix Cup," an unprecedented live sports event featuring athletes from the renowned series Formula 1: Drive to Survive and golf documentary series Full Swing. Taking place at the prestigious 18-hole Wynn Golf Club at Wynn Las Vegas, the event will kick off during the week of the highly anticipated Formula 1 Heineken Silver Las Vegas Grand Prix.
Carlos Sainz & Justin Thomas won the inaugural Netflix Cup.
The cast featured F1 drivers Lando Norris, Carlos Sainz, Alex Albon, and Pierre Gasly. The official pairings were as follows: Norris teamed up with Rickie Fowler, Sainz was paired with Justin Thomas, Gasly played alongside Collin Morikawa, and Albon teamed up with Max Homa.
During an interview with Golf.com, Thomas expressed his surprise with his shot by saying, "Honestly, I didn't think I could make it there because I thought Tony Finau's shot was going to be good. So, I just hit a little sling hook in there. I was happy to finally be able to assist my partner."
“We are the first-ever winners so it deserves … yeah, we’ll go out [tonight],” Sainz stated.
Will there be another Netflix Cup?
