Is Monarch: Legacy of Monsters available for streaming?

When and where can you watch the new show Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, based on the MonsterVerse? Is the series available for streaming? The MonsterVerse, which is a reimagining of the Japanese studio Toho's monster movies from the 1950s, was introduced to audiences in 2014 through the successful film Godzilla directed by Gareth Edwards.

Sequels and prequels were subsequently released, such as Kong: Skull Island (2017), Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019), and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). The upcoming film, Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire, is scheduled for release in 2024.

What is Monarch: Legacy of Monsters about?

The show's official synopsis is as follows: "After the epic battle between Godzilla and the Titans, which resulted in the destruction of San Francisco, and the revelation that monsters are indeed real, Monarch: Legacy of Monsters follows the journey of two siblings as they continue their father's legacy to uncover their family's ties to the secretive organization known as Monarch.

As they follow the clues, they are immersed into the world of monsters and eventually find themselves delving deeper into the mysterious story of Army Officer Lee Shaw, set both in the 1950s and fifty years later, where the existence of Monarch is at risk due to Shaw's knowledge."

Father and son, Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell, portray the elder and younger iterations of Shaw in Monarch: Legacy of Monsters. Alongside them, the cast comprises Anna Sawai, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Anders Holm, Joe Tippett, and Elisa Lasowski.
