In 2019, Pearson was a true spinoff centered on the character Jessica Pearson. However, the upcoming series will be set within the Suits universe.
This implies a completely new cast, characters, and setting. Suits fans are eager to find out if Aaron Korsh's new series will feature cameos or involve the original cast in any way.

Wil Sarah Rafferty return to the Suits universe?
While promoting her new Netflix movie, Sarah Rafferty says she’s open to letting Donna return for the Suits spinoff.
In a recent interview with The Wrap, Rafferty expressed that "Donna will always hold a special place in my heart. I am always willing to bring her back to life."
However, there is still no confirmed information about the spinoff's official cast, the characters involved, or which members of the original cast will be returning. Rafferty portrayed Donna Paulson until the end of Season 9 of Suits, where her character served as the Chief Operating Officer of Specter Litt Wheeler Williams and was married to Harvey Specter.
The Suits spinoff is set to be based in Los Angeles, set in the same timeframe as the original series. According to Variety, Universal International Studios and UCP Beatrice Springborn have promised fans that it will "have the same energy and good-looking people that the original did."
After gaining significant success following its relaunch on Netflix, Suits broke streaming records for weeks and even months. Although the spinoff does not yet have an official streaming home, fans can anticipate more news as the cast is scheduled to reunite in 2024.
