The movie concludes at the same point as the book, with a significant time lapse before the original trilogy, leaving unanswered questions about various characters. However, it is evident that Snow is on the path to becoming the merciless President that he is known as, as his impending future hangs over us like a snowstorm. Various events unfold between the movie and the original trilogy, as depicted in the books, encompassing a range of occurrences.

All traces of Lucy Gray's presence vanish, including the footage from the 10th Hunger Games, although Dr. Gaul claims to retain certain recordings for personal use.

The Capitol's authority strengthens significantly, particularly concerning its experiments on muttations, subsequently employed during the games.

Snow's rise to power is fueled by his cunning tactics of eliminating political opponents, such as Highbottom, through poisoning. Remarkably, he manages to develop a resistance to these deadly substances, safeguarding himself from such attempts. The Hunger Games undergo a dramatic transformation, resembling a reality TV show in every aspect. The inclusion of stylists, scorecards, more elaborate interviews, and an amplified sense of grandeur heighten the spectacle. Additionally, it is enforced by law that the populace must watch these Games, further magnifying their significance.

There is also speculation that Snow may be responsible for several changes that occurred after the events of Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. Will there be another Hunger Games movie?

The possibility of another Hunger Games book being written by author Suzanne Collins is currently uncertain. At present, there are no indications of it happening. However, director Francis Lawrence has hinted that there may still be a glimmer of hope for fans.

Collins has not announced any plans to write another book at this time, as previously mentioned on Dexerto. However, both director Francis Lawrence and producer Nina Jacobson have expressed their eagerness to adapt any future work for the screen. In an on-carpet interview, Lawrence stated, "Any new content related to Hunger Games would have to come from Suzanne herself... If she were to write a book that could be turned into a series, that would be incredible. Or if Suzanne were to write another book specifically for a movie, that would be fantastic."

Jacobson stressed the importance of maintaining the integrity of a franchise. He explained that if Suzanne Collins, the author, had a meaningful narrative to share within the same world, then it would be worthwhile to pursue. However, if there were no substantial themes or ideas to explore, it would be more advisable to cherish the franchise as a beloved memory instead of forcibly creating a sequel simply for the sake of it.

"I believe she will continue to write more books in the future, and I am hopeful that she does. However, I have no clue about the subject matter of her upcoming works," she further disclosed.

Numerous fans have been relentlessly requesting books centered around Haymitch or Finnick's Games for years. Yet, it remains uncertain what direction any potential future Hunger Games project may lead us to.
