Invader's Arsenal: Unleashing the Ultimate Power in Remnant 2

Invader's Arsenal: Unleashing the Ultimate Power in Remnant 2

Unleash unstoppable devastation with a lightning-fast Invader build for Remnant 2, dominating hordes of monsters with ruthless precision

The Invader, a concealed Class Archetype in Remnant 2, remains elusive to most players until they reach the final world in the main campaign. This nimble warrior excels in rapid movement and cunning tactics, swiftly maneuvering across the battlefield with ease, skillfully dodging attacks, and leaving behind lifelike illusions.

Recounting a Trickster class found in other games, this Archetype caters to those who enjoy a speedy skirmisher playstyle. In Remnant 2, there are numerous possibilities for crafting a build that maximizes the Invader's inherent abilities, ensuring both formidable damage output and survivability. Below is a recommended setup that optimizes the Invader's strengths without compromising on effectiveness in challenging difficulty levels.

The Invader excels in its ability to be omnipresent, effectively utilizing aggro-drawing decoys generated through its unique abilities and class-specific advantages. This versatility makes the Invader an ideal choice for both solo and group endeavors, as the deployment of decoys affords respite to all party members. Moreover, the Invader exhibits remarkable durability, enhanced by two skills that offer additional healing and evasion capabilities. The subsequent approach maximizes these inherent benefits while concurrently amplifying the Invader's raw DPS output.

Most of the damage from this setup will result from landing Weakspot hits using the Plasma Cutter. By applying the Twisting Wounds Mutator, the weapon will cause Bleeding and activate the bonuses provided by the Abrasive Whetstone (increased damage and critical chance against bleeding enemies). To further augment the player's ranged weapon damage, the Stone of Expanse, Constant Variable Ring, and Zania's Malice can be utilized, while the Ring of Diversion enhances dodge roll invulnerability frames. As a reliable sidearm, the Silverback revolver offers high damage per shot. It can be employed to quickly eliminate priority targets and manage crowds using the Time Lapse mod. If the number of enemies becomes overwhelming, it is advisable to switch to the Enigma.

Wormhole is the ideal primary skill as it has the shortest cooldown among all Archetype skills. Keep in mind that Invaders receive lifesteal when shooting at targets distracted by decoys, and Wormhole ensures that enemies are always distracted. Combine this with Hunter's Mark for a consistent damage boost that lasts for a moderate duration. However, players have the option to use Hunter's Shroud instead to truly embody the elusive assassin fantasy.

This configuration's DPS output is sufficient to carry players through Nightmare difficulty. It can hold its own in Apocalypse mode, though further optimization may be required to completely overpower enemies at this difficulty level, particularly in group play.

Remnant 2 is available now on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
