The Big Picture
Wolverine fans can now celebrate Laura Kinney's run as the hero with her own Funko Pop! Comic Cover figure, complete with the classic yellow and black suit and iconic mask.
Kinney made her debut in the animated series X-Men: Evolution, initially portrayed as a genetic duplicate of Wolverine before later unveiling her true identity as his flesh and blood daughter.
Although there has been confirmation of Hugh Jackman reprising his role as Wolverine in Deadpool 3, the future remains uncertain regarding any potential series or film solely focusing on Kinney's character.
The All-New Wolverine is making her debut as a new Funko Pop! Comic Cover figure, replacing the iconic Wolverine. This figure celebrates Laura Kinney's time as the hero from 2015 to 2018, sporting adamantium claws. Our website has an exclusive preview of Target's Marvel Selects line, featuring the defiant new Wolverine standing tall after her mentor, Logan, falls. The cover, taken from her debut issue, showcases Kinney embarking on a crucial mission to prevent an assassination. In this figure, Kinney wears the traditional yellow and black Wolverine suit, complete with the recognizable mask. However, her long black hair adds a unique touch to her appearance. With her claws at the ready, she exudes a fierce attitude, ready to take down her enemies. The cover, illustrated by J. Scott Campbell and Nel Ruffino, cements Kinney's new identity as she carries on Logan's legacy. Priced at $29.99 USD, the figure stands at 4.15 inches tall and comes in a protective case measuring 7 inches wide, 10.75 inches tall, and 3.25 inches deep. Against a darker, burnt orange background, the vibrant colors of the figure truly pop.
Although All-New Wolverine finally allows Kinney to wear the suit in the comics, her initial introduction was in the animated series X-Men: Evolution. In the show, she is depicted as a clone created from Wolverine's genetic material and later revealed to be his biological daughter, becoming his adoptive daughter in the process. Created by Craig Kyle, who co-wrote Thor: Ragnarok, she possesses immense power like her father and has showcased her strength in various other comic series and television shows. All-New Wolverine showcases her efforts to protect her loved ones from nefarious forces in the absence of Wolverine, including discovering clones of herself after defeating an assassin in issue #1. However, her most notable portrayal is in James Mangold's groundbreaking superhero film, Logan, where she is played by Dafne Keen.
The Future Is Exciting for Wolverine On-Screen

It is uncertain whether Kinney will have another opportunity to showcase her talent in a show or film, but her father is making a triumphant return to the silver screen. Hugh Jackman, who had previously retired, is set to reprise his role as Wolverine alongside Ryan Reynolds in the highly anticipated Deadpool 3. In this installment, Wolverine will be more furious than ever as he reluctantly teams up with the Merc With a Mouth. Director Shawn Levy is thrilled to have Jennifer Garner back in her Daredevil role as Elektra, alongside returning cast members Leslie Uggams, Morena Baccarin, Stefan Kapicic, Rob Delaney, Brianna Hildebrand, and Shioli Kutsuna. Additionally, the film will introduce exciting newcomers Emma Corrin and Matthew MacFadyen. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing SAG-AFTRA strike, it is highly likely that the production will need to be delayed beyond its original May 2024 release date.
