Intense teaser reveals Omni-Man's comeback in Season 2 Episode 4 of Invincible

Omni-Man's return sparks an intense showdown with Mark in the thrilling mid-season finale teaser for Invincible Season 2 Episode 4 Get ready for an epic clash between father and son!

The mid-season finale of Invincible Season 2 is approaching with Episode 4, and a teaser trailer has just been released. This trailer reveals a highly anticipated showdown between Omni-Man and Mark. In the very first episode of Invincible, Omni-Man was known as Earth's most powerful hero, until he unexpectedly brutally killed the entire Guardians of the Globe team.

This wasn't a breakdown of the mind. Omni-Man showcased his inner Jekyll, brutally crushing people's heads like ripe tomatoes and using his own son as a half-alien weapon to destroy an oncoming train before brutally attacking him. Filled with uncontrollable anger and guilt, he flew into space while Mark's blood trickled down his face, alongside his tears.

Apart from the opening sequence of Season 2, Nolan has primarily been a looming, existential presence rather than a physical one – until the final moments of Episode 3. This week, he returns – and we shouldn't anticipate a warm reunion. Spoilers will be discussed ahead...

Invincible Season 2 Episode 4 teaser trailer brings back Omni-Man

In a brief teaser trailer for the mid-season finale of Invincible Season 2, Mark and Nolan stare each other down. Check it out below:

Prepare yourself for pain. The official X/Twitter account of the show teased, "This is all we can share legally for this Friday's Invincible. If you undergo emotional distress, you may be eligible for compensation from R Kirkman LLC."

In Episode 3's conclusion, Mark is paid a visit by a deceptive bug-person from Thraxa who poses as the real Seance Dog. After a confrontation, Nuolzot discards the disguise and reveals a stunning revelation: his entire race, a staggering 42 billion in number, faces imminent destruction from a meteor shower, and only Invincible has the power to save them.

Without further delay, Nuolzot streaks away through the vastness of space, but upon arriving on Thraxa, an unexpected turn of events unfolds. Everything appears to be perfectly normal, perhaps even suspiciously so. Nuolzot attributes his apparent forgetfulness of the planet's formerly doomed fate to his accelerated aging, but he assures Mark that the "monarch" will provide the necessary explanations.

"Your majesty, allow me to introduce Invincible of Earth," he declares, while Mark humbly bows. The anticipated moment exceeds all expectations, sending a cold shiver down your spine, as a formidable shadow emerges into view. We are immediately greeted by a familiar voice. "Greetings, my son," Omni-Man declares, adorned in regal attire, his cape fluttering in the wind as he extends his hand. "It has been quite some time."
