A reveal has been made for Projekt Z during the Feardemic Fear Fest 2023 event. Modus and 314 Arts have released a new trailer showcasing the evolution of the zombie game. The trailer focuses on the storyline of Projekt Z, which begins with players' airplane crashing on a remote island under Nazi control during WW2. The island reveals a failed Nazi experiment to weaponize zombies.

Although it is unclear how much of the game remains from its initial Kickstarter teaser and what changes have been made, the new Projekt Z trailer hints at one feature that has been retained.
