"I am extremely grateful," the Los Angeles resident expressed on Instagram, conveying her immense pride in being a mother. Bringing a new baby girl into the world and striving to raise her to be compassionate, resilient, and empowered is a responsibility she cherishes deeply.

It was a year later, in October 2019, when they finally disclosed the name of their firstborn child.

The couple chose not to publicly disclose their second pregnancy. Instead, they pleasantly stunned their followers on Instagram by sharing a picture of their newborn daughter in June 2021.

In regards to the birth, the actress shared the extraordinary circumstances in which their daughter, Ms Elliot Rowena Adams, came into the world. She explained that she gave birth in the car while parked in a hospital parking garage. She expressed that this marks a completely new chapter for their family and warmly welcomed their precious bundle of joy.

Adams warmly embraced Elliot into the family, expressing their joy via Instagram: "[Plus] one. ... May your journey through life be filled with extraordinary moments and thrilling adventures."

The acclaimed actor of The Right Stuff later revealed their unique birthing experience during an interview on the "Katie's Crib" podcast. They shared, "She was positioned on all fours, with her back facing the windshield. Her posterior was at my head level, so I immediately lowered her pants, and there it was—the baby's head right before me. ... It all happened within a three-minute time frame."
