The strained relationship between the royal family and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle has actually brought King Charles III and Prince William closer. According to royal expert Christopher Andersen, they have had to present a united front against Harry and Meghan, who have insulted them. This challenging situation has tested them, but ultimately strengthened their bond.
In contrast to Harry and Meghan, who are 38 and 41 years old respectively, Andersen remarked that William, who is also 41 years old, and his wife, Princess Kate, have effortlessly adapted to the royal lifestyle since the very beginning. Regarding their eldest son, Prince George, who is 10 years old and second-in-line to the throne, he appears to be surprisingly at ease in his position. (The couple also have a daughter, Princess Charlotte, who is 8 years old, and a son, Prince Louis, who is 5 years old.)
Harry and Meghan have had disagreements with the British royals ever since they stepped down from their senior royal roles in January 2020 and relocated to California. Over the years, the couple, who have a son named Archie, who is 4 years old, and a daughter named Lilibet, who is 2 years old, have been open about their negative experiences within the renowned family. Harry extensively detailed these experiences in his revelatory memoir, Spare, earlier this year.
Among the numerous revelations in the book, Harry claimed that William physically knocked him down during a fight, following William's alleged insults of Meghan, labeling her as "difficult" and "rude." Additionally, Harry accused Charles, aged 74, of being "unmoved" by his appeals for assistance in protecting Meghan from harsh criticism by the British media, prior to their engagement.
Furthermore, the couple has expanded their narrative into Hollywood through various media ventures. This includes their six-part Netflix docuseries titled "Harry & Meghan," as well as Meghan's podcast called "Archetypes." However, the Spotify series was recently discontinued after just one season. Deadline reported that the decision was reached through mutual agreement between the streaming platform and the couple's Archewell Audio.

The Sussex's Hollywood projects have faced criticism not only from the royal family but also from some stars and fans. However, according to Andersen, this backlash is not new to Harry and Meghan, as being in the public eye has always brought challenges to their marriage.
Andersen explained that when they first embarked on their new life in Hollywood, they might have expected the honeymoon phase to continue. But as time passed, their supporters and friends started to distance themselves, perceiving their actions as narcissistic and superficial. As a result, they are no longer receiving the same level of support they had initially enjoyed upon their arrival.
Andersen, despite witnessing constant drama, remains unconvinced that Harry and Meghan are on the verge of separating. He clarifies that their relationship goes beyond just a typical Hollywood marriage, as it is complicated by the pressures of royalty. Andersen candidly acknowledges the immense challenge faced by individuals at their level, as maintaining sanity becomes exceedingly difficult due to the lack of privacy. People incessantly criticize and scrutinize their every move. In light of this, Andersen advises them to simply ignore all the noise and distractions surrounding them.
