Clare Crawley initially bonded with her now-husband Ryan Dawkins in the same month she called off her engagement to Dale Moss.
"On September 25, 2022, exactly one year ago, this photo was taken," shared the former Bachelorette on Instagram. "He invited me to dinner, but I had no appetite due to stress and depression. However, I agreed to have tea and go for a walk. It turned out that I laughed and smiled more during that time than I had throughout the entire previous year."

In fall 2021, after spending time as friends, the pair discreetly progressed their relationship.
According to a source, she preferred to keep their relationship private until she felt comfortable introducing him as her new boyfriend. Close friends and family have been aware of their relationship for a few months, but it was her decision to share the news. Crawley dismissed rumors about getting lip fillers, referring to her swollen lips as her "battle wounds" on Instagram.
"Furthermore, I can assure you that I did not enhance my lips; they are the result of having sensitive skin and a handsome man with a beard," she playfully remarked at the time.
