The star of Chrisley Knows Best revealed his romance with Medders to the public in the summer of 2020, although they had been acquainted for several years. As their one-year anniversary approached, the TV personality enthusiastically expressed his adoration for his girlfriend in an interview with We magazine.
In February 2021, he revealed that they would likely opt for takeout as they celebrate the milestone. The Growing Up Chrisley star emphasized their simplicity when it comes to food choices. He further expressed that they are both inclined towards romance and highlighted that what truly matters to him and the University of Georgia alum is spending quality time together. He emphasized that the activity itself is not significant as long as they are doing it together.
Amidst the fervent discussions surrounding their marriage plans, fans were taken aback in August 2021 when Chase revealed to Life & Style that the couple had parted ways. “We believed that it would be healthier and more beneficial for both of us,” he expressed. “We assessed our desires and aspirations in life and realized they were not aligning at the moment.”
However, their separation was short-lived. In spring 2022, they were noticed spending time together, and come April of that year, photographs of the pair resurfaced on Medders' Instagram page. Meanwhile, Chase officially confirmed their reignited love in May 2022 after their joint getaway with friends and family in Florida.
In October 2022, Chase and Medders announced their engagement after two years of dating. They called it quits less than one year later.
