Joe Amabile and Serena Pitt are gearing up for their second wedding as the countdown begins! Following their intimate vows at a New York City courthouse, the Bachelor in Paradise couple is eagerly looking forward to a "medium-sized" celebration in Charleston, South Carolina, scheduled for early September.
"Charleston, South Carolina was chosen as our wedding destination quite randomly, but it truly captivated us with its stunning beauty," Amabile disclosed to We during a recent interview with Pitt, where they were promoting the "Bachelor Happy Hour" podcast. "From the moment we stepped foot into our chosen venue, we knew it was the perfect place for us."
Although Amabile confessed that he has yet to acquire his tuxedo – "I still need to get one," he mentioned – Pitt has meticulously planned multiple outfits for the entire wedding weekend.
She admitted, "I have chosen a dress for our rehearsal dinner and another one for our welcome party. It has been quite challenging to keep everything a secret, so I couldn't resist showing those two to [Joe]. We are also trying to coordinate our outfits. I got carried away with excitement and revealed those dresses to him."
Pitt chimed in, "As for the wedding, I have kept it fairly secret, but I can reveal that I have two dresses prepared. The rest will remain a surprise."

Amabile and Pitt, who are composing their own marriage promises, met and became engaged during season 7 of BiP in 2021.
"When you go straight from being engaged to being a fiancée, things feel far from ordinary. However, I can now confidently refer to her as my wife," Amabile shared with Us. "We tied the knot in October, and although it was initially awkward, I have grown accustomed to calling her my wife, and I find it quite delightful."
Pitt expressed agreement, acknowledging that it initially felt quite strange. However, she quickly adapted and now enjoys referring to her partner as her husband. They both find pleasure in using the term, considering their previous status as fiancés for a relatively short period of time. In recognition of their special bond, the ceremony will be officiated by Wells Adams, a bartender from Paradise.
Pitt clarified his decision during his recent appearance on the "Chicks in the Office" podcast, stating that it was an uncomplicated choice. Concerned primarily about his acceptance, Pitt feared the possibility of a negative response due to the substantial nature of the request.

Amabile noted he asked Adams via text. “We’re so excited. It’s just very symbolic for us,” Pitt said.
“He’s a good friend and he was such a large part of our experience,” Amabile concluded.
