The InterContinental Singapore is offering a special package called "Rain Resist Bliss". If a guest's planned activity is canceled due to rain, the hotel will reimburse one night of their stay.

During a conversation with friends about the future of luxury travel, the hotel's general manager, Andreas Kraemer, mentioned the idea of guaranteeing good weather as the next level of ultimate luxury travel. This led to the creation of a rain insurance package.

However, there are some conditions to this offer. The InterContinental hotel will not be giving out cash every time it rains. According to a statement from the hotel, the criteria for the insurance is when "rain duration exceeds 120 cumulative minutes within any 4-hour block of time during daylight hours."
