Google doesn't list its Weather app on the Play Store, but you can still add it to your home screen by using the official Google app on your Android phone. Here's how to do it.
Add Google's Weather App to Your Android Phone
To access Google's Weather app on your Android phone, simply open the Google app. Once opened, tap on the search box located at the top of the main screen.
In the search box, type "weather" and select it from the search results.
You'll see the current weather information. In the top-right corner of this weather card, tap the three-dot menu.
In the menu that opens after you tap the three dots, select "Add to Home Screen."
To add the Weather app to your home screen, follow these steps:
1. Open the "Add to Home Screen" pop-up by tapping on it.
2. In the pop-up, locate the little sun icon and tap and drag it to your desired location on the home screen.
3. Alternatively, you can simply tap on "Add" to automatically place the Weather app on the last home screen of your Android phone.
To access the home screen, simply swipe left or right on your device's screen. Once you reach the screen where you have added the app, you will find the Weather app conveniently located. Tap on the app to open it and instantly view the up-to-date weather information.
To remove the app from your home screen, tap and hold the app icon and select "Remove" from the menu.
Although the Weather app has been removed from your screen, it remains available within the Google app on your phone. You have the option to re-add it whenever you desire.
