These films significantly contributed to the company's boosted profits in the recent quarter.

Moreover, the company's revenue skyrocketed by more than 50%, indicating a substantial increase for the cinema giant. Notably, Oppenheimer, which Nolan had previously highlighted during its marketing campaigns as being shot on IMAX cameras, stands out with $180 million in IMAX box office gross (20% of the total). Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning Part 1 and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny closely follow suit.

IMAX experienced a significant improvement in its financial performance, reporting a net income of $12 million, in stark contrast to the $9 million loss incurred the previous year. The company's total revenue soared to $103.9 million, showcasing an impressive year-on-year increase of 51%.
