Iconic Doctor Who TARDIS Joins Forces with Barbie Movie in an Unforgettable Pink Collaboration

The Doctor's iconic time-traveling vessel, the TARDIS, has arrived in London with a surprising new look. In celebration of the upcoming Barbie movie, the TARDIS has been given a Barbie-inspired pink makeover. In 1988's "The Happiness Patrol", the TARDIS was repainted pink by the tyrannical Terra Alpha dictator Helen A (Sheila Hancock). However, Doctor Who's most recent transformation is far more delightful. Despite the apparent divergence between the series' space-time escapades and Mattel's toyline, the upcoming Barbie movie will feature Ncuti Gatwa as one of the numerous Kens, just before the actor embarks on his own thrilling journeys as the Fifteenth Doctor. As filming for Barbie was underway, Gatwa's casting as the next Doctor was announced, resulting in surprising encounters between the actor and his co-stars.

Following his casting announcement, Barbie star Ryan Gosling expressed his affinity for Doctor Who to Gatwa. They met outside Gatwa's trailer where Gosling congratulated him and shared his love for the show, much to Gatwa's astonishment. Throughout the filming of Barbie, Gosling became one of Gatwa's biggest supporters. He even wore a fan-made shirt featuring Gatwa's Doctor on set. Gosling's devotion to Doctor Who caught the attention of returning showrunner Russell T Davies, who humorously mentioned the possibility of legal action over the shirt on his Instagram.
